I had a lovely stay at Alas Petulu Villa Resort and Spa. The surroundings are stunning, with beautiful gardens and a big pool that offers a refreshing retreat. However, I did notice some areas, like the bathrooms and linens, could use some updates. Overall, it was a good value and a peaceful escape, close to Ubud's center.

The staff were genuinely friendly, but I did notice some minor issues like a few broken tiles in the pool area and some mouldy pillows which were quickly replaced.
